Beautiful Moments, Shared With Love
"Excellent calm and relaxing cafe with capybaras, meerkats, corgis, and MORE! Highly recommend this experience!!"
My partner and I were originally planning on going to another capybara cafe closer into the city, however, chose this one last minute. It is a bit further out of the city centre, but was easy to get to in a Bolt and took us about 20 minutes from where we were staying near Emsphere shopping centre.
We were expecting capybaras and corgis from the photos we saw online, however, the zoo garden greatly exceeded our expectations when we arrived and saw meerkats, musk rats, a bamboo rat, a lemur, hedgehogs, and even a deer - just to name a few. Do note, they have different animals present on different days. We enjoyed this cafe so much, we went there twice on consecutive days, and only saw the deer on the second day. The staff were very friendly and offered to let us hold some of the animals while they were awake. You could tell the animals were well looked after, happy, and loved by the staff.
The cafe area (not where the animals are) continued to impress by offering a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere where you could enjoy the (iced or hot) drink and cookie included in the entry fee. The entry fee was on the pricier side (450 baht per person), however, did offer unlimited time spent in the cafe area and the animal area, as well as a basket of grass treats you could feed the animals with.
Note: The Little Zoo Garden and the Little Zoo Cafe are different places! You can buy a ticket to both, or to one of the locations individually. The cafe has foxes and raccoons (among other animals), whereas the garden has capybaras and meerkats (among other animals). The two locations are about an 8-minute walk away from each other.
Overall, we really enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend to anyone considering it.
