Capybara Cafe Bangkok | Animal Cafe - Little Zoo Garden

More Than an Animal Cafe—
A Place to Feel Something Real

In a world that moves too fast, we created a place where time slows down and hearts open up.

We believe that animals have an incredible gift—the ability to help us feel present, peaceful, and connected to something greater than ourselves. When a capybara rests its head in your lap, when a meerkat looks up at you with curious eyes, when a gentle deer accepts food from your child's trembling, excited hands—these moments change us.

Little Zoo Garden was born from a simple dream: to be the best capybara cafe in the world—not just in size or popularity, but in the quality of connections we help create and the standard of care we provide to every soul who walks through our doors.

Here's something beautiful we've learned: most visitors come for the capybaras, but they often stay for hours because a corgi chose to nap beside them, or a cat curled up in their lap, or a meerkat made them laugh until their cheeks hurt. These moments can't be planned or predicted—they simply happen. Our furry friends choose you, and when they do, it feels like magic. Every visit is different, every connection unique, and that's what makes each day here so special.

Every day, we welcome visitors from Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, China, US, UK, and countries around the globe. They come as strangers and leave as family. They come looking for an experience and discover something they didn't know they needed—a moment of pure, unconditional connection.

Our capybaras are the embodiment of peace—they'll rest beside you, accept your gentle touches, and somehow make all your worries melt away. Perfect for first-time animal encounters, especially for little ones taking their first brave steps. They're living proof that the biggest hearts often come in the quietest packages.

The Meerkats

Curious Social Brave

Always alert, endlessly curious, and surprisingly bold. Our meerkats will make you laugh with their standing poses and win your heart with their social nature. They remind us that the smallest among us can have the biggest personalities.

Happy corgi with bright eyes

The Corgis

Joyful Loyal Playful

Pure, uncomplicated happiness on four short legs. Our corgis don't know the meaning of a bad day—their enthusiasm is contagious, their affection is generous, and their fluffy bottoms are guaranteed to make you smile.

Graceful deer in the garden

The Deer

Graceful Gentle Trusting

Elegance personified. Our deer move through the garden like poetry in motion. When they choose to approach you, to eat from your hand, you'll understand what it means to earn the trust of a wild heart.

Friendly goat approaching visitors

The Goats

The capybaras' best friends. Our ducks share the pond, share the sunshine, and share an easy-going approach to life. They're proof that friendship doesn't require speaking the same language.

Adorable nutria eating greens

The Albino Nutria

Rare Sweet Adorable

Spot the difference! Our rare albino nutria often get mistaken for mini capybaras—and honestly, we get it. They're both adorable rodents with irresistible charm. But don't be fooled by the family resemblance! These snow-white cuties have their own unique personality and are a rare treat you won't find just anywhere.

💭

A Note About Animal Emotions

Our animals experience the full range of emotions—just like us. On most days, they're happy, cuddly, and eager to meet you. But sometimes, just like humans, they have off days. Maybe their favorite staff member isn't working, maybe the weather feels different, or maybe they just need some quiet time.

We honor their feelings. If an animal needs space, we give it. If they're feeling extra social, we celebrate it. This is their home first, and you're a welcome guest in it. Our staff will always guide you to the animals who are feeling most social that day.

I am always a bit suspicious of animal cafes because the animal's health and happiness is my top priority. However, the people here absolutely adore every single creature and it seems very clear that they are doing their best for as many of them as they can. I'm not entirely sure that some of those animals really love that heat, but they are being well cared for.

That being said, this is a super fun place. There are two locations and in this one, you can meet a capybara. If you are looking for the raccoon, she is in the other location. Which we also went to. It was also amazing.

When you go in, the people at the desk will tell you about the different packages they offer and we ended up getting tickets to both locations. So we ended up getting several cookies out of the deal! And the drink we ended up getting at this location was absolutely delicious!

Our 5yr old loved this place!

Entrance fee: 450/adult, 350/child- includes a drink and cookie for humans... as well as some leaves and a cup of snacks for the animals.

We love capybaras (there's a few adults, a few 6month old and two 3month old ones), and corgis.

All the animals are sweet, awake and alert. We visited around 1:30-2:45pm. The dogs and other smaller animals are in an air conditioned room in the back, we played there for a while- all the dogs are friendly and will come up to you for a cuddle/belly rub.

We'd definitely come back to play with the animals! There were a few other kids with guardians while we were there, yet it didn't feel crowded.

Little Zoo never disappointed. Very well known for taking good care of their animals. You can pet nearly everything in this garden cafe just like in Little Zoo Cafe. Animals are very used to human and surprisingly friendly. Decent coffee as well.

Little Zoo Garden is such a fun and heartwarming place in Bangkok! White Chocolate, the small chubby goat, is just the cutest—I couldn't stop smiling watching him waddle around. The dogs are super friendly and playful, and it's clear they're all very well taken care of. The staff are so nice and accommodating, which made the whole visit even better. A perfect spot if you love animals and want to spend time in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Very nice experience. They have various animals, they keep it clean and they give you a drink and a cookie within the price of the entry fee (which is 450 THB).

In the open area: there are plenty of capybara (around 10) which they are the starshow of the garden. And there are some sitting tables around.

There is a room full of corgi dogs, some cats, meerkat, a wallaby and some other small animals.

A beautiful little sanctuary where you get to feed capybaras by hand. Amazing experience!

We originally went to the wrong place (Little zoo cafe) but the staff were really understanding and transferred our voucher to the garden which was only a 7 minute walk away.

The staff were really helpful and kind and the animals are really well cared for.
